Alphabet Letter Match
A fun match-up activity to consolidate your students’ knowledge of uppercase and lowercase letters.
In this teaching resource, students match the lowercase and uppercase letters of the alphabet.
Ways to use this alphabetย letterย matching game:
- Print out, cut, and laminate the Alphabet Letter Match – Letters and store them in a ziplock bag. Print out and laminate the Alphabet Letter Match mat. Students must find and match the uppercase and lowercase letters.
- Print out and laminate the lowercase Alphabet Letter Match mat. Give each student a set of the small alphabet reward erasers, and have them match the uppercase letters with the lowercase letters on the mat.
- Print out the Alphabet Letter Match mat you would like for your students to work with. Hang it on a magnetic board. Give the students a set of magnetic letters to use. The students will place the corresponding magnetic letter inside each box.
This activity works well with yourย readingย small groups, guided reading groups, or as an activity to use in your reading centers.
