Teaching Resource
Alphabetical Order Dominoes
An engaging way for your primary students to practice putting words in alphabetical order.
Use this teaching resource when first exploring alphabetical order with your primary students. The images provide a scaffold for the students, making it a bit easier for them to put the words in order.
Print out a set of the dominoes on cardstock for added durability. Cut them out and store them in a resealable bag to be used over and over.
Individually, or in small groups, students connect the dominoes by matching the image with the word using alphabetical order.
Three blank cards have been included for you to create your own words if needed.
This resource is great when used as a reading center activity.

We create premium quality, downloadable teaching resources for primary/elementary school teachers that make classrooms buzz!
