A profile worksheet for students to use when learning to analyze characters in a text.
Use this resource when working with students on the character story element in a literary text.
After reading a fiction text in class, provide students with a copy of the character profile worksheet. Have them choose a character from the text and complete the chart using their chosen character.
Students will be analyzing a character’s:
- likes and dislikes
This resource can be used as a whole-class activity by projecting the chart on the dry-erase board and completing it together as a class. Alternatively, have students complete the profile independently as a reading center activity.
