Teaching About Light for Kindergartners? We Can Help!

Teaching about light for kindergartners? We’re here to help! This year, you can introduce your youngest learners to the concepts of light and shadow with an engaging digital learning activity made just for them. This interactive Light for Kindergartners game helps kindergarteners explore what is and is not a source of light in a simple, fun, and age-appropriate way.

With interesting images, clear instructions, and a self-checking navigation, it’s the perfect game for building foundational science knowledge with budding scientists.

Sources of Light Game – Interactive and Easy!

Playing this Sources of Light Game is easy! To play:

Students will examine a variety of everyday objects, such as lamps, the sun, flashlights, toys, and animals, and determine whether each one is a source of light. They will then click ‘yes’ if it is a source of light or ‘no’ if it is not, and receive immediate feedback as they play.

The game is easy to use on Chromebooks, tablets, or interactive whiteboards and works great for whole-group lessons, independent practice, or science centers.
