Literary Genres Worksheet

PDF, Google Slides | 3 pages|Grades: 4 - 6

A worksheet to practice identifying the characteristics found in different literary genres.

Use this worksheet with your students when learning about the different literary genres.

This resource can be used as independent practice after a lesson, or why not use it as part of your lesson by projecting it on the dry-erase board and working through the worksheet together as a whole class!

Wanting a more active way to use this worksheet? Why not print out 1 copy of the worksheet and cut out each question. Then, post the questions around the room and have student pairs rotate through the questions, writing down the literary genre in their journals.

Use the drop-down menu to choose between the PDF or Google slides version. An answer key is included in the download.
