Vocabulary Dice Roll Activity
6 vocabulary activities to use with a range of words.
Use this teaching resource when building vocabulary in the classroom.
Students choose a vocabulary word then roll a die to complete the activity for the number they rolled. The students record the answers to each activity in their vocabulary journal.
The six vocabulary activities include:
- Define the word
- Use the word in a sentence
- Write an antonym for the word
- Write a synonym for the word
- Draw a picture of the word
- Act it out!
Print the activity card on cardstock for added durability. This activity is great when used as a reading center activity.
Use the drop-down menu to choose between the full color, low color, or black and white version as well as PDF or editable Word version.
