how do i add this background to google meet?
Naomi Gallman · Sep 23rd, 2020
Hi Naomi! In order to use a digital background on Google Meet, you will first need to download the tool ChromaCam. The link to this page is https://www.chromacam.me/download/. Once you have the tool downloaded and before you join or start a new meeting, click on the three-dotted button for ‘More Options’. Next, click on ‘Settings’ to configure your camera. From here, in the Video tab, click on the drop-down menu under ‘Camera’. Change the camera to ChromaCam AVS. A new ChromaCam window will pop-up on the screen allowing you to choose a background. Once you have set your new background, just minimize the popup window and you’re done. We hope you enjoy using the backgrounds!

Can these be used with Seesaw?
Becky Olivares · Aug 13th, 2020
Hi Becky! If you are recording a video from the Seesaw app, you won’t be able to use these backgrounds because their video feature is just like using the video option on your cellphone. However, a workaround is to use Zoom to record your video and then upload it to Seesaw. This will allow you to be able to use a digital background on your video. We hope this helps and please reach out if you have any other questions!

Do you y know if this will work in Schoology conferences?
DENISE SCHACHT · Aug 7th, 2020
Hi Denise! I don’t believe Schoology conferences allow users to change their background when using the video feature in their app. However, all of our PDFs, Google Slides, and PowerPoints are compatible with Schoology conferences.
