A set of worksheets to practice writing the letters of the alphabet in order.

Use this resource when teaching students the correct order of the letters in the alphabet.

Ways to Use This Resource in Your Classroom:

  • Print off enough copies for your reading small group and slip each one inside a dry-erase sleeve. Use it as a quick review each time they come to a small group with you, or use it as practice after working on letter ordering. Either way, it is easy to wipe clean and use again and again!
  • Print the resource and slip it into a dry-erase sleeve for students to complete as a reading center activity! While practicing letter order, they will also be able to practice proper letter formations. When they make a mistake, they simply wipe it off and try again! Plus, what student doesn’t LOVE writing with dry-erase markers?!
  • Print a copy for each student and use it as an exit ticket or quick assessment. This will help you to see which students need additional help with letter ordering and/or proper letter formation.

This resource comes with both an uppercase version as well as a lowercase version. Use the drop-down menu to choose between the PDF or Google Slides version.
