A classroom display that allows students to see their current reading level and set their target reading level.
Print the tree pieces, owls and acorns out on A3. Laminate each of the pieces so you can write the students’ names on the owls and acorns and easily stick them to the tree.
The tree pieces should be lined up so they go up the wall. Put an owl with a student’s name on the branch where they are currently reading. Also write their name on an acorn and put that on the branch of their target reading level.
