Cross-Section of 3D Shapes Activities for Deeper Geometry Understanding
Understanding the cross section of 3D shapes is an important part of upper primary geometry, helping students connect three-dimensional objects with the two-dimensional shapes created when they are sliced. Developing this spatial reasoning supports students as they explore prisms, cylinders and other geometric solids.
This comprehensive worksheet pack has been designed to provide students with multiple opportunities to investigate cross-sections in various contexts.
