Map Elements Matching Game for Primary School Geography Lessons

Enhance your geography lessons with a map elements matching game. This game is designed to be played as a Concentration or Go Fish! game. Students match terms, images and descriptions of different elements commonly found on maps.

Terms included are:

  • map title
  • compass rose
  • legend
  • map key
  • scale
  • latitude and longitude.

This matching game would be an ideal intervention activity for students who need extra support in identifying the features of maps.
