Information includes:

Where: Fire coral is found on reefs in the Indian, Pacific and Atlantic Oceans and the
Caribbean Sea.
How many: some species of fire coral are extremely rare and haven’t been sighted since 2008.
Why: The worst threats to coral are poor land management practices, pollution and climate change. Most fire coral species have brittle skeletons that can easily be broken during storms or by divers.
