A set of 32 task cards with activities for tracking student progress along the numeracy learning progression.
This set of task cards (and accompanying flashcards) contains assessment activities aligned with sub-elements from the National Numeracy Learning Progression.
The sub-elements and progression levels included in this teaching resource are:
- Quantifying numbers
- QuN1 – QuN11
- Additive strategies
- AdS1 – AdS8
- Multiplicative strategies
- MuS1 – MuS7
- Number patterns and algebraic thinking
- NPA1 – NPA6
Use these task cards with individual students to assess their progression or adapt the tasks for small groups of students who are achieving a similar level.
The flashcards are designed to be printed double-sided. This will apply a useful label to the back of each card to help identify which task they are associated with.

I agree with Manny Giannopoulos (Sept 4th, 2020) —and I'm sure many other teachers would agree that it would be VERY useful if the other aspects of the Numeracy Progressions were created to add to those in this resource (Guided Maths Groups – National Numeracy Learning Progression – Task Cards) please.
