A hands-on sorting activity to use when introducing persuasive devices.
Cut out and laminate the persuasive sentence cards. Distribute these among the students.
As a class, match each sentence to the persuasive device being used. The persuasive devices included in this teaching resource are:
- personal pronouns
- rhetorical questions
- emotive words
