Use this teaching resource in the classroom when investigating and describing patterns with objects. This hands-on activity is ideal to use in small groups as part of maths rotations.
How to use this teaching resource:
- Cut out the snake templates and the extra shapes.
- Sort and store the extra shapes in zip-lock bags or storage baskets.
- Encourage your students to continue the pattern by selecting from the extra shapes.
- Students add the matching tail on the end of the snake.
