A set of addition dominoes to use in the classroom when applying the split strategy.
Use this teaching resource during numeracy group activities to encourage students to apply the split strategy when adding.
Print, cut out and laminate a class set of the dominoes to store in a ziplock bag. Alternatively, to reduce plastic use, print on thick card.
Individually, or in small groups, students connect the dominoes by matching the answer with the question.
