Calendar Maths Worksheets for Daily Learning

A daily calendar routine is an effective way to build students’ understanding of time, number concepts and mathematical language. Through regular calendar activities, students develop confidence with dates, days of the week, months of the year, weather observations and number patterns.

This calendar maths worksheet set includes two low-prep recording sheets designed for ongoing use throughout the school year. Students practise recording the day, month, date, year and weather, while also exploring yesterday, today, tomorrow and number-of-the-day concepts.

Activities include:

  • Recording the day, month, date and year
  • Observing and tracking the weather
  • Identifying yesterday, today and tomorrow
  • Representing numbers with tally marks or base-ten blocks
  • Colouring and locating dates on a calendar

Creative Ways to Use These Daily Calendar Worksheets

These daily calendar worksheets can be used in a variety of engaging ways:

  • Calendar Helper Activity – Have a student complete the worksheet each morning and report their findings to the class.
  • Number of the Day Challenge – Use the number section to explore different representations and discuss number patterns.
  • Seasonal Comparisons – Save completed worksheets throughout the year to compare weather patterns across months and seasons.
