Uses of Materials Sorting Activity
A fun sorting activity for students to explore the materials objects are made of.
Use this teaching resource when studying Chemical Science and exploring the properties of materials and their uses. Students also consider the suitability of materials for specific purposes.
Print out the black and white worksheets and provide a copy to each student or laminate the colour picture cards and sorting template to make a game. If using the game, students will need a whiteboard pen to record what the object is made of in the appropriate column. The picture tiles are placed in the final column.
