What Are Community Helpers? A Kid-Friendly Definition
So what is a community helper? These people in the community provide vital services that keep our towns and cities running. But how do you explain who community helpers are to your students? Here's a kid-friendly definition from our teacher team:
A community helper is someone in our neighborhood who helps us do important things, like keeping us healthy and safe. They are our friends who help us when we need them.
Who Are the Community Helpers Kids Learn About?
