A puzzle for students to solve when consolidating their understanding of coding.
Use this teaching resource when studying binary and coding in your classroom.
This puzzle has been designed to support students understanding of the patterns found in binary code. It can be used to assess students understanding as an informal assessment task, a consolidating activity or an extension task.
It requires a prior understanding of the value of each ‘bit’. Reading 8-bit ASCII Codes Worksheet and Binary On/Off Information Sheet are ideal resources to use prior to completing this puzzle in order to establish coding knowledge.
