An adjective clause (sometimes called a relative clause) is a group of words that describes or gives more information about a noun. These clauses usually begin with a relative pronoun such as who, which or that.
For example: The dog that barked all night kept everyone awake.
If you’re teaching or reviewing the adjective clause with your students, look no further than this digital quiz! The quiz presents 24 questions about adjective clauses. Students must choose the correct answer from the options provided.
For example:
Which group of words is the relative clause in this sentence:
The book that I borrowed from the library was fascinating.

The correct answer, of course, is option a!
If students choose the incorrect answer, they are directed to a slide that encourages them to go back and try again. If they choose the correct answer, they progress to the next question.
