Classroom Spinner Template - Digraphs
A classroom spinner template focusing on digraphs.
Use this classroom spinner template on the IKEA Lustigt Spinner.
This is a great interactive phonics activity for students to do in the elementary classroom. A variety of digraphs are used around the spinner so that your students can practice identifying different digraphs. Here are some ways you could use this phonics activity in the classroom:
- students can list all the words they can think of that contain each digraph
- students verbalize each digraph the spinner lands on
- students use the digraph to come up with a word and then use that word in a sentence.
Print this template on cardstock so that it can be used time and time again.
Place the circle in the middle of the spinner and the arch shapes onto the sections of the spinner.
There are blank versions and editable versions that you can download and customize to your classroom needs.
