A set of 20 compound word cards to use in a matching game.
Use this fun matching game with your students when learning to use base words to decode common compound words.
Print out the game cards on cardstock and cut them out. Keep them in a resealable bag to be used again and again.
This game is played with 2–4 players. Player 1 flips over a compound word card and must find the two words that make up the compound word. Then, they must read each word and place them on top of the compound word.
A complete set of directions and an answer key is included in the download.
