Cursive License and Application

PDF | 2 pages|Grades: 2 - 5

A set of cursive licenses to give to students when they master cursive writing.

Making Cursive Fun

Oh, Cursive. Students love to hate it. Personally, I love cursive, and I’m so glad that it has made its way back into some standards across the United States! ✍️

Make learning cursive fun with this cute resource! Once students have mastered their cursive writing, they can apply for a cursive license. They will write a few sentences in cursive, then sign their name on the application. If they pass the ‘test’, they get their own cursive license!

Fold the resource in half and glue it together to create a front and back license. Students can draw a picture of themselves in the space provided on the front of the license.
