Doubles Plus One - Dice Roll Worksheet

A worksheet to help students practice the doubles plus one addition strategy.

Use this teaching resource in the classroom when teaching near doubles.

Students roll a die or pick a number from a deck of cards, then double their number and add one. Students use their numbers to complete the number sentences on the worksheet provided.

Slip the sheet in a dry erase sleeve and have students use a dry erase marker when playing, then wipe clean. This is a great math center activity when practicing addition strategies.
