Dressing Up A Sentence Activity
An activity to encourage students to add more descriptive language into their sentence writing.
Use this teaching resource as a writing center activity or as a guided small group or whole class activity. Students pick a dull, boring sentence from a pack of 60 flashcards. Then they use the ‘Dressing Up a Sentence’ template to guide them in adding to the sentence to make it a ‘wow’ sentence.
