Easter Writing Prompts for the Classroom
Get the most reluctant students writing with these Easter-themed writing prompt task cards. Each card has a sentence starter to get their creative juices flowing.
There’s nothing worse than writer’s block? Right? You can either have students choose which sentence starter they are going to use, or you choose one a day. Having students spend 10 minutes every single morning just writing is a great way to increase their writing stamina.

🆘 Support Struggling Students
For students who may find it difficult to read the sentence starter, come up with the ideas and then write the sentences down. Get them to record their ideas using a recording device. They can then listen to their ideas and begin to write them down.
➕ Challenge Fast Finishers
Challenge students to come up with a different text type. Get them to use the topic and switch the text into a persuasive text or informative text.
