Teach Your Students How to Estimate Quotients With Compatible Numbers and Multiples

After students learn the basics of rounding, they often times work on using this skill with estimation. Your students may know how to estimate when adding and subtracting, but how well can they estimate when dividing? Teach Starter has created an engaging set of doodle notes to use with your students when presenting this new skill to your class. This resource includes a double-sided completed version as well as a fill-in-the-blank version if you wish for your students to take notes. The notes can be colored as an added engagement piece.

This activity is intended to be an engaging way to take notes on a new concept and practice the skill. It is also a handout students can keep as a reference to use throughout the unit.
