Creating Your Big Mouth Mummy Craft

We’ve made this mummy super easy to create! All cut and fold lines have been marked for students, and we’ve also included step-by-step written instructions for stronger readers. To make your mummy,

  1. Cut the mummy away from the first page along line 1.
  2. Staple the story pages where marked. Turn the template face down.
  3. Fold and crease the template and pages along lines 3 and 4.
  4. Fold the top portion downward so that the Line 3 crease aligns with Line 2.
  5. Fold the bottom portion upward so that the Line 4 crease aligns with Line 2.
  6. Unfold the template and finish cutting out the mummy around the edges.
  7. Color the template using crayons or colored pencils.
  8. Display!
