Mold It! Task Cards

$2.99 or Free on Plus | 7 pages (PDF)|Grades: Pre-K - 2

A set of 28 task cards to use with modeling clay.

This resource works on fine motor skills and phonological awareness. Each card provides an instruction for the student to make an object out of modeling clay.

These task cards are open-ended and explore the following concepts:

  • short vowel sounds
  • initial consonants
  • rhyming words
  • syllables.

When reading the clues, ensure that they are read using the phoneme sound rather than the letter name.

Print these on cardstock for durability.
