Display Learning with a Parts of a Plant Foldable
Are your students learning about the different parts of plants and their purposes? Teaching kids about the different parts of a plant is an important aspect of science education. Not only does it help children understand the basic structure of plants, but it also helps them develop an appreciation for the natural world around them. Learning about the different parts of a plant, such as the roots, stems, leaves and flowers, can help children understand how plants grow, how they produce oxygen and how they serve as the foundation of many food chains. This template will help students organize and present their ideas in a fun “lift-the-flap” display.
Encourage your students to put on their thinking caps and think of ways that the different parts of plants contribute to their growth. This printable template includes four flaps for students to record their learning about the flowers, leaves, stem, and roots of plants.
