Pattern Activity Cards - Pencils

6 pages|Grades: Pre-K - K

A set of 12 repeating pattern activity cards.

Use this teaching resource with your primary students when teaching how to extend patterns.

How to use this teaching resource:

  • Print the pattern cards and the image cards on cardstock to ensure durability. Cut out the image cards and place them in a resealable baggie or container. Place the pattern cards on a binder ring for easy access.
  • Students choose a pattern card to complete. They extend the pattern by choosing the correct image card and place it in the box.

We have included a set of 3 blank pattern cards for students to create their own repeating pattern for a friend to complete.

This activity is ideal to use as a math center activity.
