Problem Solving Mat

A problem solving mat to help guide students when solving word problems.

This teaching tool is a fantastic way to provide a scaffold for students when solving word problems.

How can you use this resource?

  • Print out a class set on cardstock and slip each one inside of a dry erase sleeve. Students can use whiteboard markers on the mat, then wipe clean.
  • Project the resource on the whiteboard and use it solve problems with the class.

Use the drop-down menu to choose between the color or black and white version.
