Keep track of how many books your students are reading with this Read Across America reading tracker designed to truly help students read across the entire US.

Read Across America Goal Tracking

Set individual or classroom reading goals for Read Across America Day and motivate your students to read more books this year than last year!

Setting a goal will give your class something to work towards, which can increase their engagement and motivation to read — not to mention reading goals give kids a sense of accomplishment when they reach it, which can boost their self-esteem and confidence.

Of course, tracking progress toward a reading goal can help children to see the progress they are making, which can provide them with a sense of satisfaction and encourage them to continue reading. It’s why we’ve developed this tracker in the form of a US map to provide a visual representation of all the progress that is being made as students work their way through book after book.

You can print the letter size and give one to each student to track individual reading goals or print the tabloid size to use for the whole class.

For each book that is read, one state gets colored in.
