Nurturing Confidence in Students – Self-Esteem Building Game

Promoting self-esteem is crucial to a student’s personal and academic development. A game board designed to boost self-esteem is a fun and effective way to engage students in activities that nurture their self-confidence and self-image.

This game board is a versatile resource that combines elements of gamification with self-esteem-building activities. It presents a colorful board with a path to follow that features self-esteem-related questions. Students progress through the board, completing the questions.

How to Play this Self-Esteem Board Game

Objective: Build self-esteem as students make their way around the board to the finish line.

Materials required: Board game mat, spinner, number cube, and game pieces.

Rules

  1. The player that spins or rolls the highest number gets to go first. Then, players will take turns clockwise.
  2. The player will spin or roll the dice and then move their game piece, counting each space.
  3. The player must answer the question on the space they landed on.
  4. If the player lands on a green space, the player must move their piece back to start or move backward the number of spaces stated.
