Discover the causes of the American Revolution with a Road to Revolution Flipbook.

Causes of the American Revolution Flip Book

What caused the Revolutionary War? Was it triggered by the French and Indian War? Maybe the Townshend Acts… But there’s also the Boston Tea Party… So many small events led to the war that created America, and we’re here to help you teach all of them.

We’ve created a fun flipbook of American Revolution activities that include reading passages and activities covering

  • British Taxation without Representation
  • Boston Uprisings, including the Boston Massacre and Boston Tea Party
  • The Townshend Acts
  • Timeline of the American Revolution

Assemble Your American Revolution Flipbook

  • Print each student a copy of all pages and staple it into a packet.
  • Students disassemble the packet and cut out the flipbook pages on the solid line surrounding each page.
  • Stack the individual pages in order, beginning with the largest on the bottom and ending with the smallest on top. Align all pages along the top edge.
  • Staple the book together at marked staple points.
