Adding in Adverbs!

If your students are learning how to write simple sentences, this teaching presentation will highlight how they can add adverbs to their sentences to make them more interesting and provide more information about the topic or scene!

This 19-slide deck reviews the parts of speech you’ll already have covered (nouns and verbs), before explaining what adverbs are and how they can be used to provide additional detail.

Through viewing this teaching presentation and completing the tasks set out within, students will gain an understanding of how a sentence can be made more specific by adding adverbs.
