Looking to Make ‘About Me’ Bags This Year? Grab a Free List of Ideas and a Bag Tag!

If so, you’re in the right place! We’ve put together a fun little group of printable instructions and bag tags for you to use as your back-to-school All About Me Activity! This fun activity guides your students to introduce themselves to their classmates through the use of artifacts! The only tools you need are brown paper bags and a printable bag tag for each student.

Completing the All About Me Bag Activity

The All About Me Bag activity is a creative and fun way for students to introduce themselves to their classmates at the beginning of the school year. Each student is given a brown paper bag and a printable tag in this activity. They are instructed to fill the bag with artifacts – items that represent their interests, hobbies, family, favourite things, or anything else that they feel represents them. These items serve as conversation starters, helping students to share personal stories and details about their lives, which helps create a positive classroom community. This activity is a fun way for students to express themselves and an excellent icebreaker for the start of a new school year!
