Hi, I love these too but the letter o has an owl which makes an ow sound with the w, not a true short o sound. Is it possible to replace it?

    • Kristian

Hello Linda, These posters are just alphabet reminder posters for animals which begin with these letters. If you are teaching short 'o' phonics and phonemes, then perhaps these resources would be better suited to your needs: https://www.teachstarter.com/au/teaching-resource/short-vowel-sound-posters-phonemes/ https://www.teachstarter.com/au/teaching-resource/sound-families/ https://www.teachstarter.com/au/teaching-resource-pack/transport-theme-phonics-resource-pack/ If there is anything else I can assist you with, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Guys, I hate to whinge as I love this site and resources but when teaching young students sounds, you can't say c is for chicken and s is for sheep! "Ch" and "Sh" are the beginning blends! How about cow and salamander?

HI, Any chance the phonics alphabet could appear one day with the military morse code words? Thanks Kel

I love this these alphabet posters ad would love to display them in my room! Is it possible to get them in the Victorian Modern Cursive font?

    • Jill (Teach Starter)

Hi Laura, We have added Victorian Modern Cursive to this resource. Thanks again Scott

Thanks for the suggestion Laura. We'll be adding greater font choices over the next few weeks, in time for the new school year. We'll let you know when it's ready for you to download. Kind regards, Scott
