This open-ended mathematics investigation has been designed to deepen students’ understanding of area.

In this investigation, Miss Sparkle is producing another one of her fabulous plays! She needs to find people who can make sound effects by stamping their feet. Miss Sparkle has asked the class to find out whose feet have the biggest area in order to find the people who can make the biggest sound!
