Division Year 4 Task Cards for Mathematical Fluency
Developing confidence with division Year 4 concepts requires students to solve problems using a variety of strategies and representations. These task cards provide meaningful practice with division while encouraging students to think flexibly about how numbers can be partitioned and shared.
This resource includes 24 division task cards featuring a mix of number sentences, arrays, bar models and word problems. Students record their answers on the included recording sheet, making the resource ideal for independent practice, small-group work and maths rotations. Answer keys are also included to support quick and easy marking.
By engaging with multiple representations of division, students strengthen their problem-solving skills and build a deeper understanding of division strategies and number relationships.
Flexible Ways to Use These Division Task Cards
This resource can be used in a variety of classroom settings:
