Empowering Students to Seek Support

By fostering a culture of open communication in the classroom, we can empower students to seek assistance from trusted adults and overcome obstacles more effectively. One practical tool to facilitate this process is using these Asking for Help Strategy Sheets. These sheets provide students with a structured framework to describe their experiences, express their emotions, and develop a plan for reaching out to a trusted adult.

By using these strategy sheets daily and having them visible for students to use when needed, you reduce the stigma around seeking help. Students realise that seeking support is a sign of strength and a valuable part of learning.
