Fractions on a Number Line Worksheet

Introducing our new differentiated worksheet set designed to help students master counting by fractions and placing fractions on a number line! This comprehensive set includes a variety of exercises and activities that will engage and challenge students of all levels.

This download includes two different versions. Each version is noted with either one or two stars in the upper right-hand corner. With the lower-level version, students will be guided through the activities with more scaffolded questions. The students who complete the higher-level version must use their understanding of equivalent fractions to complete each question.

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!

If there are students who need an additional challenge, encourage them to complete the two-star version of this resource. This version includes questions where students use their understanding of equivalent fractions to add additional tick marks to number lines before completing the question.

For students who need a bit of support, consider assigning the one-star version of this resource. Additionally, it may help to have students number tick marks with each fraction at first to help them understand how to count by fractions properly.
