The Moon Landing - Historical Recount Structure Sorting Task


A sorting task to help students learn about the structure of a historical recount.

Use this teaching resource to reinforce the structural features of a historical recount.

Students cut out and read each paragraph of the historical recount, The Moon Landing. They must then glue each paragraph into the correct row of the scaffold table provided, under the following headings:

  • title
  • orientation
  • series of events
  • conclusion.
