Numbers 1 – 30 in numerals and words on frying ‘eggs’ to help students with number recognition.
This activity is ideal to use in small group maths rotations. Set up a station with a frying pan and spatula. As students say each number, they can flip their egg.
To differentiate, encourage students to match the numerals with their word counterparts, or flip the eggs in ascending or descending numerical order.
Use the editable version to extend students who can count to numbers higher than 30, or for subitising activities.
