A set of place value cards to help students explore and expand larger numbers.
Use these cards during your numeracy sessions to help students explore the place value of larger numbers.
Students use the cards to model and visually represent larger numbers. For example, the number 3892 would be represented by 3 x 1000 cards, 8 x 100 cards, 9 x 10 cards and 2 x 1 cards.
Use this resource in conjunction with a place value chart.

Add and subtract two- and three-digit numbers using place value to partition, rearrange and regroup numbers to assist in calculations without a calculator
