Procedure Text Sequencing Activity - How to Brush Your Teeth
A hands-on learning activity to consolidate students’ understanding of the structure of procedure texts.
Use this teaching resource when introducing the procedure text type to your students.
Cut and laminate the individual pieces of the text. Encourage your students to work together in small groups or pairs to correctly sequence the procedure.
You could differentiate this task for students of varied learning needs by asking them to:
- sequence the pictures only
- sequence the words only
- sequence the words and the pictures.
