Dive into Sound Study With a Sound Energy Booklet

Introduce your students to the concept of sound energy and its various sources using this 12-page Sound Energy Booklet. Your students will love creating their very own reference book all about sound.

Throughout this Sound Energy Booklet, students will learn that certain things in the environment are sources of sound, while others are not. They will build scientific vocabulary and use drawing and writing skills to connect their prior knowledge about familiar sounds to the material.

Distribute one copy to each student so they can have their own mini-book to record information learned about sound energy during your unit. You may choose to model answering the prompts, or have the students complete the tasks individually.

What’s Included in This Year 2 Sound Energy Book? 

This sound energy book contains 12 pages. Some contain information and others space for students to contribute their ideas through drawing or writing.
