Sound Energy Sources Mini-Book

Introduce your students to the concept of sound energy and its various sources using this 12-page mini-book activity. Your students will love creating their very own reference book all about sound.

Throughout this activity, students will learn that certain things in the environment are sources of sound, while others are not. They will build scientific vocabulary and use drawing and writing skills to connect their prior knowledge about familiar sounds to the material.

Distribute one copy to each student so they can have their own mini-book to record information learned about sound energy during your unit. You may choose to model answering the prompts, or have the students complete the tasks individually.
