An Interactive PowerPoint to help organise classroom group rotations.

This teaching resource is designed to provide a template for teachers to organise their weekly group rotations for their students. Display this PowerPoint in the classroom when you are teaching a subject that requires multiple groups to work on a variety of tasks.

You can create a slide for all the subjects and personalise how many groups you have and what their group names are. Just simply copy the appropriate icon from the illustrated icons page onto the rotation boxes for each day of the week and you can name the activity in the text box below. Example slide has been attached to this PowerPoint. Alternatively, you can insert your own images and photos to suit your classroom activities.

Subjects you could use this Interactive PowerPoint for could include:

You can write notes for each group for mini instructions such as when work needs to be handed in, reference activities and page numbers.

Note: Different versions are included in the PowerPoint for 3, 4, 5 and 6 groups. Simply delete or duplicate the slides that you need.

I love this! Could you please include an option of less than 5 days? I'm trying to delete the unwanted days, but it just looks messy.

I love this resource but is there a way to change the colours? I have the same coloured groups but need to change the order.

Hey Rebecca, thanks for reaching out to us. You can alter the background colour by highlighting the text boxes in each group, then changing the background colour when editing in PowerPoint. The text boxes are fitted to be te right size, so filling their backgrounds will cover any original solours that are there. If you need further assistance with this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks for this resource. Slide 6 has 6 groups but only 5 rotations (days). Can this be fixed please?

Hey Lisa, thank you for sharing your appreciation of this resource. This rotation board has been designed to be adjustable each week from Monday to Friday. As you have six groups, I would suggest either duplicating the slide to plan more than five days,, as you will have more rotations than days per week. Alternatively, you could also adjust these as you plan for your weekly rotations.

Hi Murphy. We're in the process of adding some different version that will have 3, 4 and 6 groups on them. We will have them up and ready to download asap. Thanks!

I too would like to add an extra group to this resource but am unsure how to do so

Hi Ali. We will need to make alternate versions as the groups are a background image and can't be edited. We are working on that now though and should have them up to download shortly. Thanks for the suggestion!

Love this resource but could it possibly be made editable so that I can change the number of groups as well as the days of the week?
